GLORIA Romberg kunstwerk installatie

De oostendse  kunstenares Gloria Romberg exposeert haar nieuwe  installatie “Message In A Bottle” in het kader van de “Beeldenroute Lissewege 2018”, die werken van zo’n 115 internationale kunstenaars omvat. De installatie van plastiek is gericht op het thema ecologie  en onze nonchalante achteloosheid  in de omgang met plastiek en microplastiek, een heel actueel thema. “Plastiek  heeft in de natuur 450 jaren nodig voor de verrotting en afbouw. Zolang  zal het  plastiek de natuur pijn doen”, benadrukt Gloria Romberg. De installatie is te zien in de tuin van de oude pastorie in Lissewege. De beeldenroute loopt van 6 juli door de hele zomer tot en met 23 september.

The fine arts artist Gloria Romberg from Oostend exposes her new art installation “Message In A Bottle” during the “Beeldenroute Lissewege 2018, which showcases the work of about 115 international artists. The installation, made of plastic, points to the issues ecology and our lack of care around plastics and microplastics today. “Plastic needs about 450 years to rot. This whole time, it does pain to Mother Nature”, states Gloria Romberg. The installation can be seen in the garden of the “oude pastorie” in Lissewege during the summer from July 6 till september 23.
